The History of Grace & Glory

Grace & Glory, established over 40 years ago, serves as a spiritual and community hub in Enfield, Connecticut. Originally in East Longmeadow, MA, at 93 Meadowbrook Rd., we've been at our current location on 1600 King St. for over a decade. Since moving, we've joined the Connecticut district of the UPCI international network of churches, expanding our reach beyond our local community. Through our ministries, we extend our outreach to neighboring communities and abroad, spreading faith, hope, and love. Each year, we grow and serve locally and globally.

Grace & Glory Apostolic Church is a Bible-based church. We're Bible-based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs and our lifestyle on explicit passages of the Bible or on biblical principles. Based on Scripture, we believe the following . . .

FUNDAMENTAL

DOCTRINE

Our basic and fundamental doctrine is the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

We shall endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit until we all come into the unity of the faith, at the same time admonishing all brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body.

ABOUT GOD

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man.

“Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living.

"And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
